(more to come)
“Congrats on your tape (Earth Song: In Beauty). Sent it to Sing Out magazine...” - Pete Seeger
“Bridget Wolf's music [on her album "Earth Song: In Beauty"] reminds us of time when we lived as keepers of the land in harmony with "Our Lady," mother nature. Wolf takes us back to a time when we danced with the spirits of plants and animals to welcome the seasons, to exalt in the light of the full moon and to give thanks for the elements from which we came--wind, earth, water and fire.
Her phrasing tells of a time when we knew no rhythm so well as our own heartbeat. Wolf's sensual voice resonates with love in a range that expresses not only the maiden's laughter and the woman's confidence in the integrity of her art, it hints as well of her struggle to transcend self and reach beyond death.
The fruits of Wolf's spiritual journey are planted in this album. Her message is clear. One is left deeply moved, open to contemplate the direction we are taking if we try to transcend our primitive roots in nature.
But lest I give the impression that Wolf's album is only an intellectual treat for New Agers and reviewers like myself who seek more meaning from music than I do from philosophy, I hasten to add that it is a thing of beauty and inspiration.
Wolf's self-produced album is a truly joyful offering of heartfelt music. Her poetic confidence, the intensity and modulation of her feelings, her honesty and simplicity, her mastery of mood, her melodic invention are remarkable. And although this album is Wolf's first production, her craftmanship is solid. Her talent is steady and certain. She not only sings and accompanies herself on synthesizer, drums, rattles or piano on every song; she composed and arranged all the pieces on the album. Wolf is a true virtuoso.” - Robert S. Powell

Concert Review:
“Bridget Wolf's songs evoke life, with all its joy and pain, grace and inspiration. But they are mostly about love. They invite us to meditate and to dance. From the moment she takes the stage, we know we are in good hands. We can sit back, relax, and let the music wash over us.
Her instrumentals evoke deep emotion. She plays with strength and gentleness at the same time. In the music, water runs over great rocks beneath. Her rhythms twist and turn, rock and sway. At times they halt, just like life does, then move on in a different direction.
Then she sings, her voice a throwback to the torch singers of another generation--rich, full, straightforward with a touch of jazz and blues. She uses it to bring a sense of play to her original songs. They're filled with wordplay and instruction. At times they feel like children's songs written for adults, the type we all need.
They remind us to respect the earth and ourselves. They invite us to sing along and call to our better selves. Bridget sings and plays with a freedom that frees us as we listen.” - Teresa Williams, Oregon writer
Spontaneous healing experienced:
“At an impromptu performance given by Bridget at a friend's home in Vermont, a young man who had injured his foot that morning and got stitches due to the severity of the injury, said this about her music: "During the entire time I listened to Bridget's music, I felt no pain in my foot.”
Here is some appreciation from participants in Bridget's Creative Expressions workshops:
“It was a little hideaway, a breath of fresh air, a human touch with kindness, freedom to be true to yourself and choose to participate or not.
I'm stimulated! I enjoyed exploring parts of myself that I tended not to in the past. There were moments of discomfort, mostly due to my own inhibitions but valuable all the same.
Great class! It accesses many levels--the creative, the spiritual, the emotional, as well as an opportunity for connection and insight. Thanks!
Motivating, rare! One of a kind! Needs to be more spaces open like this.
And Joseph Patrick Quinn, a participant in Bridget's Creative Expressions classes, was moved to write a poem about his experience:
LET US MAKE MUSIC
Yes, let us hear music and dance; sing as we can, unconcerned with opinions, especially our own!
And paint, carve, write from the heart how it is to see light/dark and all pairs of opposites we're but poles of apart-- yet art and part of how it feels to sense alive in all and all in us inseparate.
Our perception sets organ pipes vibrating cold brass alive; all life, because we sense it, singing! Yes, let us make music of what we feel; with what's heard, let's dance! by Joseph Patrick Quinn 6/98”
From Songs for Healing circles led by Bridget in New York City
“Bridget's music speaks to my heart. It helps me reconnect with an inner core of my being. The part of me that is spirit, pure, alive and whole...When I listen to Bridget's music, I've been transported to a better way of feeling...a part of me is plugged in again, or reconnected, and it's like: "oh, that's who I am," "that's what's really there!" and I feel a lot of different things at those times...” - -- feedback from a woman attending one of Bridget's song circles in New York City
In 2024 during a Past Life Regression, connecting to Animal Spirit Guide…
A. Haldar writes: I really enjoyed my past life regression. It was very gentle and calm. I got an insight of who I was and who was my spirit animal and the message within it.. I truly appreciate you for taking the time to do this process - it was a first one for me. I will encourage anyone who wants a past life regression or any other modalities to work with You!
Love your soulful music. You are multidimensional, multitalented and carry cosmic wisdom with you! I look forward to our friendship as well as working together in the future!
During an Energetic Healing Session:
J Svizzero writes: Amongst all the seriousness of the world and the situations it brings us to face, I am really appreciative of Bridget's levity and connection to spirit. My session with her addressed many details I had been struggling with in a straightforward manner that was grounded throughout. I immediately felt the difference in my body and this integrated well over the course of the next few days. I was able to keep clarity of thought to maintain the spaciousness she assisted me in acheiving, for the shared process offered simple and accessible tools that would be helpful for me in doing so. If you are drawn to her offerings and reading this, I would say you're halfway there. Resolution awaits and it can be a very gentle and compassionate process.
And in January of 2024, in support of connecting with Dearly Departed Loved ones, J Svizzero added:
I had the opportunity to visit another aspect of Bridget's offerings during my mother's transition toward death. Relatives from her lineage had been showing up at my home and I desired to strengthen the connection of direct support and contact.
Once clear boundaries were established specific invitations were sent out along with a broader invitation for those with specific attributes who wished to be present. Once Bridget had contact, nuances and phrases came to her, an inflection here or there, that let me know she was truly listening and allowing a clear channel. It fluctuated some as there were many who showed up!
Some of the questions that arose surprised me, especially when my father showed up. "What do you want to ask me ?" He was always direct and of few words. It fit eloquently and I had to go deeper to get to the real juice of it for myself. That in itself allowed a gracious sense of rightness in putting certain things to rest.
The reactions I had to particular responses helped me move forward and relinquish unresolveds from the past as well as concerns moving forward. Dear aunt showed up to put me at ease over past disappointments. Meeting with an uncle was simply a joyous expressions of gratitude and appreciation for one another.
All aspects were allowed seamlessly and encouraged as Bridget graciously facilitated.
As soon as our session closed I returned to the recorded version. In this way I was able to integrate details I otherwise may have forgotten, for the session was full and moved at a good manageable pace. A palpable sense of reestablished connectivity has integrated well and stayed with me. I also feel as though it helped open a broader channel to assist my mother in her passage. There was one night in particular where she was literally reaching out in her sleep and it comforted me greatly to know my father was there to welcome her.
An Endorsement in 2023:
Dr. William Spady writes an endorsement for Bridget's work:
Much of my professional work is organized around a framework with five fundamental elements: Consciousness, Creativity, Collaboration, Competence, and Compassion. Rarely, if ever, have I experienced them all together in one person at such extraordinarily high levels as Bridget – and with a radiance and authenticity that has made it so easy to ‘connect’ with her and go into very deep conversation about such a wide range of issues. Underlying this capacity to connect so deeply, I know, is the full manifestation of her soul – her Higher Self – and its capacities to reach into and tap dimensions of existence that transcend our physical realm. I’ve benefitted enormously from the explorations into higher consciousness – call them journeys into spirit – that she has led us on, and they’ve induced insights and ‘messages’ that I badly needed at the time.
Beyond that wonderful gift lies her ability to listen and empathize that I’ve valued the most – reflecting a deep caring about the person in her presence and a desire to add to their life as best she could. I mention these things because they illuminate the depth of the soul behind all of the glorious, heartfelt music she has created and beautifully performs. In sum, I am in awe of her and profoundly value the gifts of ‘being’ that she has so freely shared with me and others who are on paths of inner growth and high-integrity living.
